King Robert the Bruce T-Shirt

Our greatest King brought us together. Our Dog Molly loved visiting the Battle of Bannockburn and it quickly became her favourite place in the World. Because of this, Molly and I set up Freedom Tour Today and we began welcoming visitors to Bannockburn (and Stirling Bridge).

Our King Robert the Bruce T-shirt and hoodie were born from thousands of memories of Molly and me welcoming people from all over the World to Bannockburn. Despite the thousands of photographs taken by me, it was local photographer Liam Kelly’s sunset shot that adorns our unique design. Our great friend, Duncan Thomson, Chairman of the Strathleven Artizans sent me the quote on the back and I fell in love with it instantly. It oozes warmth and welcome. 

When Robert the Bruce Left Scone Chapel, he said: 

“Leave this Place and make friends, for we shall need them”

Strathleven Artizans was formed in 2005 to promote the historical links between Robert Bruce and the village of Renton. Other than Bannockburn, the place most associated with the warrior king was the area around the present Renton village. Your donation also supports the Robert the Bruce, King of Scots Heritage Centre in Renton run by the Strathleven Artizans.

Steven is a Member of the Strathleven Artizans and one of the Organisers of the Battle of Bannockburn Commemoration. Since 2020, £2,650 has been donated to the Strathleven Artizans from sales of the Robert the Bruce & Sir James Douglas designs, our Freedom Tours at Bannockburn and inkind gifts for our Annual Pilgrimage to the Douglas Days Festival in Spain.
